These Terms and Conditions outline the requirements, responsibilities, and safety expectations for all participants engaging in horse-riding activities and experiences with Cradle Country Adventures. By making a booking, all riders and visitors acknowledge and accept the terms set out below.
A booking is confirmed only once full payment has been received. No reservation is held until payment has been processed. All prices are listed in Australian dollars and may be subject to change.
Bookings are non-refundable. We require minimum 7 days notice to reschedule a day ride and 10 weeks notice for Overnight Rides and multi-days. If Cradle Country Adventures must cancel an activity due to weather, safety concerns, or other operational reasons, guests will be offered an alternative date or refund.
Horse-riding activities are subject to weather. Wet or windy conditions will not automatically cancel a ride; however, unsafe conditions may result in a postponement or cancellation. The final decision rests with Cradle Country Adventures to ensure rider and horse safety.
Some rides and experiences require a minimum number of participants. If minimum numbers are not met, rides may be rescheduled or refunded. Group bookings may have additional requirements or conditions applied.
For safety reasons, all riders must: Be physically capable of mounting, dismounting, and riding a horse. Wear approved helmets and appropriate clothing, long pants and enclosed shoes. Follow all instructions given by Cradle Country Adventures staff Disclose any medical or physical conditions that may affect their ability to ride safely Failure to follow instructions may result in removal from the ride for the safety of all participants.
To ensure animal welfare and rider safety, a strict maximum rider weight of 100kg applies. Riders may be weighed prior to departure. Those exceeding the weight limit cannot participate. No refunds will be offered if you are over the weight limit on the day.
Children must meet minimum age requirements to ride. Younger riders may require an accompanying adult or may be restricted to certain activities depending on ability and safety considerations. Children age 5-9 can join our 1.5 hour ride while children 10 and over can join any of our day rides.
All participants ride at their own risk and must sign the online waiver. Riders must follow instructions, maintain safe behaviour, and accept responsibility for their actions. Any reckless, dangerous, or non-compliant behaviour may result in removal from the activity without refund.
Horse-riding is an adventure activity that involves inherent risks. By booking, riders acknowledge that horses can behave unpredictably and that risk cannot be completely eliminated. Guests agree to participate with awareness of these risks and follow all safety procedures presented by staff.
Participants are required to sign the liability waiver before riding.
Horses are managed with care and respect. Cradle Country Adventures reserves the right to: Refuse a rider if they may compromise the welfare of the horse, Change horse allocation at any time, Modify or cancel a ride to ensure the wellbeing of animals
Rides may be altered, shortened, postponed, or cancelled due to weather, safety concerns, environmental conditions, or horse welfare. Cradle Country Adventures will always prioritise the safety of horses and guests.
Personal information collected during bookings is used solely for communication, safety, and operational purposes. Your information will not be shared with third parties except where required by law or safety regulations.
