Horse riding in Tasmania in 3 unique locations: Harveydale (Westbury) located in the beautiful Mersey Valley, Cradle Mountain in the Vale of Belvoir Conservation Area and Bakers Beach (Narawntapu National Park).

It doesn’t matter if you are a novice or an advanced horseperson – our horseriding gives you the chance to live it up outdoors in the quintessential Australian experience.

There are half-day, full-day and multi-day rides to choose from. Gaze at the brilliant landscapes, feel the gentle breeze on your face, taste fine produce, smell the wildflowers and campfire damper and hear the stories behind our three amazing locations. There are creek crossings and varying terrain and it’s likely you may spot a playful platypus, a waddling wombat, Kangaroos, Wallabies or Echidnas during your ride.

Our rides at Harveydale travel through undulating areas of historic farmland, tranquil forest, rural and mountain views. Experience a range of landscapes from the stunning agricultural hinterland of the Meander Valley to the renowned Cradle Mountain.

For those wanting to go horse-riding on the Beach we offer 3 or 5 hour Beach rides.

Half-day rides range from 1 to 3 hours and these are suitable for everyone from first-time riders through to the experienced. Full day and multi-day rides are most popular with our experienced guests as these rides are generally faster, longer and more demanding.
